All sounds are X5-compatible. More sounds can be found from the Links page, and in some of the songs. Most of the files are in .syx format, so you'll need a System Exclusive utility or a SysEx capable sequencer for sending them to your X5, or then you can convert them to .05r with the PC utilities from the Software page. The files in .05r or .x5 formats require Korg Sound Editor, XEdit or similar software.

X5D Pre-A sound bank The preset sounds of the X5D for adventurous X5 owners. Some of it works for you, some of it doesn't. See below.
X5D sounds that work with the X5 A list of X5 compatible X5D sounds and an XEdit file containing those sounds. Provided to Korgy Park by Rey Lacson, thanks!
XPower Disk A 6 banks in SysEx format (01WA, 01WB, M1, PIP1, Rock, Synth_UK). I got this from Korg after registering as an X5D-owner.
XPower Disk B 5 sound banks in SysEx format (Dance, rock, world, orchestral, jazz)
Tony Thompson's freeware sound bank This used to be shareware. It's a MIDI file, so you have to play it with your sequencer.
11 sound banks for the Korg Sound Editor In .05R-format, all the sounds from Korg Sound Disk plus more!
Top100 sound bank By Brian Kavtaradze. Contains some X5D sounds too.
