I am Janne Simonen, a 30-something Finnish male. At the moment I'm working as a post-doctoral researcher at RIKEN Nanophotonics Laboratory in Saitama, Japan. My research area is nanostructured plasmonic devices. For more info about my life in Japan see Sushiraja (in Finnish).

I'm married to Minna Hyvärinen and an owner of two abyssinian cats.

A long time ago I created a few songs using a Korg X5 synthesizer (see my site Korgy Park): Breathe, Cee-HC, Savannah, TouchOfTheMermaid and Zenith.
