I'm a 29 year old Englishman working in Houston, Texas on a 2 year assignment
from my UK-based company ICL, working in IT services (I'm non-technical). I
intended to be leaving in April 98 but it now appears I'm moving to Philadelphia
in a month for another 2 year stint. I've been an avid synth-buff since the
early 80's and would be seen at many a Thomas Dolby, Depeche Mode, Visage gig. I
really like dance rhythms and strings/orchestration - you'll find that most of
what I do that's non-acoustic will combine the two.
My set-up is Cubase running on a Compaq Pentium 133, 16Mb with a Korg X5D.
I'm shortly going to be shopping for a multitrack and an additional sound-module
for my set-up. Any recommendations/horror stories would be appreciated.
